Yesterday, the Animal Disaster Team (ADT) was called in by local authorities to rescue a stray sheep wandering on rough terrain near busy roads.

The steep landscape made the operation tricky, requiring several attempts to safely guide the animal to a secure area. But thanks to our team’s patience and expertise, the rescue was a success.

The sheep is now in the care of SRPA, where she’ll get the attention she needs before being placed in a suitable new home.

At the request of the police, the Animal Disaster Team (ADT) stepped in to help a young, disoriented Malinois found in front of a house in Seneffe. She reacted aggressively when approached, making intervention tricky. Working alongside law enforcement, our team safely secured her.

She has since been transferred to L’Arche de Noé shelter, where she’ll receive the care she needs.

An emu named Lady was seen wandering along the E411, prompting numerous reports from concerned drivers. She was eventually located in a nearby parking lot, where the Namur police quickly stepped in to secure the animal.

Thanks to their swift response and our intervention, Lady was safely returned home to her companion.

Our rescuers quickly arrived on the scene and, after a thorough check, confirmed that the bird was unharmed. The owl was then safely released back into its natural habitat.
