Rescuing a dog that could not be found in an unsanitary dwelling.
The emergency response of the Animal Disaster Team (ADT) in Jemeppe-sur-Sambre, following an alert from the local police, highlights a serious problem of animal neglect. The mission: to locate and rescue a dog still trapped in a house where the unsanitary conditions were reaching alarming levels. Three of his companions had already been evacuated, but he was nowhere to be found.
Rescuers, equipped with flashlights, made their way through the chaos of a home abandoned to trash and abandoned memories. It was in this oppressive environment that they finally spotted the dog, hidden and visibly terrified.

ADT intervenes in support of shelters to rescue many animals in distress in Maurage.
In support of shelters, the Animal Disaster Team (ADT) responded to the call of the SPA La Louvière, deploying its teams in emergency to Maurage to help many animals in distress.
On the ground, rescuers discovered heartbreaking scenes: 16 sheep, about 30 goats, and two ponies were kept in deplorable conditions, on a field strewn with debris and dead animals. These apocalyptic conditions not only posed an immediate risk to the health and well-being of the surviving animals, but also underscored the urgency of the response.

Rescue of a badger left for dead near dinant.
An urgent intervention took place near Dinant. In response to an urgent call from Creaves in Namur, reporting an injured badger on the side of the road, our teams quickly mobilized to rescue this animal in distress.
When we arrived at the scene, we discovered a young badger in critical condition, obviously weakened and suffering from serious injuries. Acting quickly, we took the necessary steps to immediately transport the badger to a specialist veterinary care centre, where it could receive the vital care it urgently needed.

A marathon day dedicated to rescue: ostrich, fallow deer, macaws, buzzards and kookaburras rescued.
During this rescue operation, the Animal Disaster Team (ADT) joined ARS in Mechelen, responding to the call of the Rivierenland Police to rescue several exotic animals.
The day began with the thrilling care of five fallow deer, weakened by extreme thinness. Our teams worked to extract these animals following teleanaesthesias performed by the veterinarian.
Then came the challenge of the ostrich, with its massive beak and imposing claws. We managed to secure the bird, carefully transferring it to a shelter suitable for its needs.

ADT rescues 15 dogs from horrific living conditions.
In a poignant intervention, the Animal Disaster Team (ADT) recently responded to a critical call from our partner, the Walloon Union for Animal Protection (UWPA), reporting a situation of extreme distress involving 28 dogs in Profondeville.
When the ADT teams arrived, they were confronted with a heartbreaking sight: the dogs were in an alarmingly distressed state, living in a confined, dirt-strewn space of just 20 square meters. These animals, neglected and deprived of care, were in a state of great distress.
