At Animal Disaster Team (ADT), every mission is unique, but some truly stand out. Recently, our team was called in for an unusual yet life-saving operation: rescuing an owl trapped inside a chimney.

A critical situation for an owl in distress

Imagine a majestic, wild owl, stuck in a confined space, unable to break free. That’s exactly what happened in this case. The disoriented bird was completely trapped and had no chance of escaping on its own. That’s when our team was urgently called in to help.

Swift and careful intervention

Our rescuers, trained in specialized animal rescue techniques, quickly arrived on the scene. With precision and care, they managed to safely free the owl without causing any harm. Once rescued, the bird was placed in a safe environment to recover.

A stop at the CREAVES center in Perwez

After the rescue, the owl was transferred to the CREAVES center in Perwez, a facility dedicated to the care and rehabilitation of wild animals. After some well-deserved rest and recovery, the owl was released back into its natural habitat, ready to take to the skies once again. 🌳
