Unusual Rescue in the Heart of La Louvière

Our ADT – Animal Disaster Team was called in for one of the most unexpected missions: a lost Canada goose wandering through the center of La Louvière!

This disoriented wild goose tried to find shelter… in a rather surprising place: the lobby of a downtown hotel! A curious stopover for our feathered adventurer, far from her natural habitat.

Our team quickly mobilized and handled the situation with calm and professionalism. With gentle and controlled movements, the goose was safely secured — without injury or unnecessary stress.

Our top priority: ensuring the animal’s well-being while keeping everyone around safe.

After this brief urban detour, the goose was released into a nearby canal — a much more suitable environment for her needs. She was able to return to the water and to peace, far from the city’s hustle and bustle.
