There are nights when every minute counts and every action can make all the difference. Recently, our team experienced a powerful moment, reminding us why we commit every day: to save lives and bring hope to those who need it most.
An Urgent Call in the Night
In the midst of the evening, as the streets were gently enveloped in calm, we received an urgent call from the Sylle and Dendre Police. A roe deer had been struck by a vehicle on the roadside. The animal, in shock, was immobile, its eyes reflecting the pain of a difficult moment. The first instruction, given calmly and precisely, was to cover the animal to reduce its stress while awaiting our arrival. This simple yet crucial gesture helped create a reassuring environment for the little victim.
A Quick and Secure Response
Upon arriving at the scene, we acted with the necessary urgency. With constant concern for safety and the animal’s well-being, we swiftly attended to the roe deer. It was then safely transported to the Creaves de Perwez, where it would receive the attentive and essential care needed to heal its injuries.
A Comforting Surprise
Just as we thought our mission was complete, life had a beautiful surprise in store. Despite the hardships, the roe deer was still carrying a little companion. This unexpected detail reminded us that nature is full of resilience and beautiful stories of hope. Thanks to the care provided by La Grange Sauvage and the meticulous attention of our partners, the young roe deer quickly regained strength.

A few days later, a new call filled our hearts with joy: the roe deer was doing well, and so was its fawn! It was now ready to return to the wild and continue its life in nature. That night, we didn’t just save one life, but two. This double victory means much more than a simple rescue: it embodies our unwavering commitment to animal welfare and the certainty that every life matters.
