THREE NEGLECTED DOGS RESCUED FROM A DISTRESSING SITUATION

Report of a concerning situation

Following an alarming report, ADT went to the scene to assess the worrying condition of several dogs. The animals were living in a heavily soiled environment and were suffering from serious health and hygiene problems. Behind this distressing situation, there was also significant human hardship. Due to severe personal difficulties, the owner was no longer able to care for her dogs. Immediate intervention was therefore absolutely necessary to safeguard the animals’ welfare.

A respectful solution for everyone involved

Given the seriousness of the situation, the competent authorities were immediately contacted so that a coordinated intervention could take place. A respectful and empathetic conversation was then held with the owner. This helped her understand that the dogs’ living conditions had become completely untenable. With her consent, the three animals were able to be removed from this difficult situation. They were thus given the chance to receive the urgent help they needed and to look forward to a safer future.

Medical care and shelter

The rescued dogs were immediately transferred to the SPA of La Louvière. There, they will receive all the necessary medical care and treatment over the coming period. Professional carers will provide them with the attention and calm they need to make a full recovery.

Thanks to the good cooperation between all the authorities involved and the shelter, these dogs now have the prospect of a normal future and will hopefully soon find a family where they can once again simply be dogs, treated with the respect they deserve.
