Technical rescue of a kitten trapped in an old fuel tank access shaft
A few days ago, the Animal Disaster Team (ADT) was urgently called out for a delicate rescue mission: a kitten had fallen into an access shaft leading to an old fuel tank.
No one knows how this tiny explorer ended up there, but one thing was certain: it would never have been able to get out on its own.
Upon arrival, our responders first carried out a risk assessment before launching the rescue operation. The intervention took place in an extremely confined and difficult-to-access space, requiring calmness, precision and, at times, a fair amount of contortion!
After many minutes of careful and meticulous work, the kitten was finally brought to safety, unharmed. 💪
The animal was then transferred to SPA La Louvière, where it received the care it needed, along with plenty of comfort and attention.
