Rescue of a Seriously Injured Roe Deer Following a Dog Attack

Recently, our teams were urgently called to assist a roe deer that had fallen victim to a violent dog attack. The animal, seriously injured, was quickly taken in by our specialists.
Upon our arrival at the scene, the roe deer was in an extremely weakened state, suffering from severe injuries. He had deep wounds on his head and ears, with parts of his ears torn off. Every minute counted in our efforts to save this animal in distress.
To minimize the deer’s stress following this ordeal, we immediately stabilized him before transferring him to the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center (CREAVES) in Perwez. There, he is now receiving the intensive care necessary for his recovery.
