Rescue of a roe deer trapped in Braine-le-château

The Animal Disaster Team (ADT) was urgently called by the CREAVES centre in Perwez to assist a roe deer in distress.

The animal had wandered into the garden of a private residence in Braine-le-Château and became trapped, unable to find its way back to its natural habitat.

As soon as the alert was received, our volunteers mobilised for a rapid response, prioritising a calm and gentle approach to minimise stress for the animal. Thanks to this controlled intervention, the roe deer was safely captured without injury or panic.

Once secured, it was immediately released in a suitable natural environment, far away from any danger.
