Rescue of Lune: Two Days Perched, and a Happy Outcome

Our Animal Disaster Team (ADT) was called in to support the firefighters of the Dinaphi Rescue Zone for a particularly delicate mission: rescuing Lune, a young cat who had been stuck in a tree since Saturday morning.
When we arrived on site, the situation was critical. Lune was perched several meters high, with no obvious way to climb down. The tree itself was difficult to access, making the task even harder… and Lune didn’t make it easier either! Wary and cautious, she only allowed timid approaches, requiring a very gentle and careful strategy.
Our team, specialized in rescuing animals from perilous situations, had to demonstrate patience, strategy, and calm. It took nearly two hours of coordinated effort to safely approach the cat without frightening her further or risking a fall.
Thanks to smooth collaboration with the firefighters, the mission was successfully completed under the best possible conditions. Once retrieved, Lune was reunited with her family, who were visibly relieved to see her safe and sound after two days missing.
💚 This rescue is a perfect example of the kind of missions we carry out with determination, passion, and humility. Every successful intervention strengthens our commitment to animal welfare, even under the most unexpected circumstances.
ADT remains available 24/7, exclusively upon request from authorities or rescue services, for any urgent situation involving animals – no matter the species.
