Rescue of a fox trapped under a terrace

The Animal Disaster Team (ADT) was called in by the municipal authorities of Auderghem after concerned residents reported a fox trapped beneath a terrace and in very poor physical condition.
Upon arrival, our volunteers had to navigate an extremely narrow, dark and difficult-to-access space. After a careful search, they were able to locate the animal.
The fox was found to be:
- Severely weakened
- Suffering from advanced mange
- Carrying serious wounds on the rear part of its body
➡️ The fox was immediately transferred to the CREAVES centre in Perwez, where it is currently receiving appropriate care, including wound treatment, mange therapy and rehabilitation.
🎯 As with every intervention, our mission remains unchanged: to give the animal the best possible chance of recovery so that, once healed, it can return to its natural environment.
