OFFICIAL SIGNING OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN ADT AND THE GOVERNOR OF WALLOON BRABANT
ADT strengthens its cooperation with the authorities of Walloon Brabant
ADT continues to reinforce its operational presence and collaboration with provincial authorities in order to ensure rapid and effective care for animals during emergency situations.
Following the agreements already concluded with the provinces of Namur and Luxembourg, a third cooperation agreement has now been officially signed with Gilles Mahieu, Governor of Walloon Brabant.
This signing marks another important step in the development of ADT’s institutional partnerships. It is part of a structured approach to improving the coordination of interventions involving animals during crises, disasters and emergency situations.
Cooperation in support of emergency response
Through these agreements, provincial authorities and ADT strengthen their operational cooperation to ensure appropriate care for animals in the field.
Thanks to its network of trained volunteers and specialised technical resources, ADT is able to assist the authorities 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in cases of:
- natural or technological disasters;
- accidents involving animals;
- emergency situations requiring animal care or evacuation;
- logistical and operational support during major crises.
These agreements also help improve coordination between the different services involved in interventions, ensuring a rapid, organised and effective response.
A growing relationship of trust
ADT warmly thanks Governor Gilles Mahieu for his trust and commitment alongside the teams in the field.
ADT also thanks the Governors of the provinces of Namur and Luxembourg for their continued cooperation and support in developing emergency response systems adapted to animal-related challenges during crisis situations.
Strengthening these institutional partnerships is an important step towards improving the protection and care of animals throughout Belgium.
