INJURED HERON RESCUED IN ROMSEE
Our team was recently called by the CREAVES wildlife rescue centre in Theux after a heron was spotted in distress and unable to fly.
Our responders were quickly dispatched to the scene, where they located the bird and discovered it had suffered a wing injury. Thanks to a calm and professional approach, the heron was safely secured and handled without causing additional stress.
The bird was then urgently transferred to the CREAVES centre in Andenne, where it immediately received the care it needed. There, it can recover safely under the supervision of wildlife rehabilitation specialists.
Our objective remains simple and unwavering: to give this magnificent heron every chance to heal and one day freely return to the wild where it belongs.
