Many of you reached out to alert us about a small cat in distress, perched high in a tree at an impressive height. Your messages, shares, and tags on social media helped bring attention to a critical situation: Kanny, a cat trapped for several days in a fir tree nearly 20 meters tall.

Thanks to your vigilance and solidarity, we were quickly informed of this emergency. As soon as the alert came in, our team mobilized to assess the situation and organize a safe rescue. While saving an animal at height might seem straightforward, it requires specialized expertise, proper equipment, and great caution.

Kanny’s rescue was truly a challenge: although the tree was tall and imposing, it was relatively thin and unstable. We had to move calmly and carefully to avoid taking unnecessary risks — both for our team and for the cat himself.

Fortunately, our team, trained in high-altitude rescues and equipped for such situations, was able to reach Kanny without trouble. Once within reach, the little cat allowed himself to be approached with touching gentleness, as if he knew he was finally safe.

Carefully brought back down to the ground, Kanny was reunited with his owners — overwhelmed but relieved. The reunion was filled with tenderness and gratitude, a powerful reminder of the deep bond that connects an animal to its family.
