Florennes – Two kittens thrown from a moving car. Chatouille, one little survivor, rescued thanks to a heartwarming wave of solidarity.
Florennes – A shocking act of cruelty unfolded on Monday evening, deeply upsetting a passerby who happened to witness the scene. Two tiny kittens were heartlessly thrown out of a moving car.
One of them was rescued on the spot by the witness, but the other—more frightened—fled into the woods, leaving everyone worried.
The fire brigade was alerted without delay and quickly attempted to locate the kitten, but their efforts were unsuccessful. Given the urgency, they called in our specialized Animal Disaster Team.
As soon as our team arrived on site, faint meows guided us deep into the vegetation. Curled up in the undergrowth, the kitten was clearly in shock. We had to act fast, but with calm and precision—before he could vanish deeper into the forest, making any rescue much more difficult.
Thanks to the skill and swift response of our team, the kitten was safely captured. Just a few weeks old, he was lovingly named Chatouille.
Now safe, Chatouille was entrusted to our partner Sans Collier, where he is receiving the care and comfort he so desperately needed. This little fighter is finally getting warmth, medical attention, and kindness.
And very soon, he’ll discover what every animal deserves: a loving, safe home.
