Emergency Situation for a Pig Rescued After 7 Years in a Small Cage

We are facing an urgent situation involving a sow who has endured unimaginable conditions for seven long years. This sweet creature was confined in a small cage without proper care. Her nails, never trimmed, curled under her feet, making it difficult for her to stand properly. In addition, her overweight and weakened condition allow her to stand for only a few minutes at a time.

Since Tuesday, her nightmare has finally ended. She has been taken in by the small Belvie farm, where she’s being given a second chance to live in an environment suited to her needs. There, she will receive all the necessary care for her rehabilitation.

Though the road to recovery will be long, we are filled with hope.
