Challenging Rescue: Stray Sheep Safely Captured in Boncelles

Yesterday, Animal Disaster Team (ADT) was called in by local authorities in Boncelles for a unique rescue mission: a young stray sheep had been spotted wandering on a vast, steep terrain near busy roads.

The rescue turned out to be anything but easy. The rugged landscape, with dense woodland and steep slopes, made capturing the animal particularly tricky. Despite several failed attempts, our team remained patient and strategic, gradually guiding the sheep toward a more contained area.

After hours of effort, we finally secured the animal safely. This successful operation was made possible by the specialized training of our rescuers, who are experienced in handling complex situations with precision and care.

Once rescued, the sheep was taken to SRPA, where she will receive proper care. The team will assess her health, identify her, and ensure she is in good condition before finding her a new home or reintegrating her into a suitable environment.
