ADT INTERVENES IN IXELLES TO FREE A CROW TRAPPED INSIDE A GYM
A crow trapped inside a building
A crow found itself trapped inside the Basic-Fit gym located at Porte de Namur in Ixelles. Disoriented, the bird was flying around the facility, unable to locate an exit and return outdoors.
The situation required a rapid intervention to prevent the animal from becoming exhausted or injuring itself.
A swift and controlled intervention
ADT teams travelled to the scene to take charge of the situation.
Thanks to a calm and carefully managed operation, the bird was safely captured using a net pole, a specialised piece of equipment that allows rescuers to secure an animal while minimising stress and avoiding unnecessary injury.
The rescue was carried out safely for both the crow and the people present inside the building.
An immediate return to freedom
After checking the bird’s overall condition, the teams confirmed that it had not suffered any injuries.
The crow was therefore immediately released back into its natural environment.
