ADT AT CRISALIA: A DAY AT THE HEART OF CRISIS MANAGEMENT
ADT present at Crisalia in Nivelles
ADT was pleased to take part in Crisalia, organised by the City of Nivelles around the themes of emergency planning and crisis management.
For the occasion, ADT teams hosted a stand to present their missions, intervention resources and the importance of integrating animals into rescue and disaster management systems.
ADT warmly thanks the City of Nivelles for the invitation and for the excellent organisation of this high-quality event.
Placing animal care at the heart of emergency response
Throughout the day, many exchanges took place with crisis management professionals, emergency services, authorities and various field actors.
These discussions helped raise further awareness of the need to fully integrate animal care into intervention strategies during disasters, major accidents and emergency situations.
Animal-related issues are now an essential part of crisis management systems, both for the safety of responders and for animal welfare and support for affected communities.
A day rich in exchanges and cooperation
ADT’s participation in Crisalia also provided an opportunity to share field experience, discuss best practices and strengthen cooperation between the different services involved in emergency management.
These moments of exchange are essential to improve procedures and develop response systems that are increasingly effective, coordinated and adapted to realities on the ground.
Building tomorrow’s emergency response together
ADT remains fully committed to working alongside authorities and partner services to help develop more comprehensive and inclusive crisis management systems.
Because animals are also part of emergency situations, their care must be planned, organised and integrated into every intervention strategy.
