When a call from the CREAVES center in Ransart alerted us to a bird in distress in Mons, our volunteer teams immediately mobilized. On site, a seagull was found in critical condition — covered in blood and with a wing that was likely fractured.

Thanks to a quick and secure intervention, the bird was safely captured and restrained, allowing it to be stabilized before transport.

After this initial care, the seagull was transferred to the CREAVES center in Perwez. There, it is now receiving the necessary treatment, with the hope that one day it will regain its freedom and fly again in its natural environment.
